I did a really poor job posting on this one! Sorry! So, someone from work knew someone that knew about the Arribada (as things go here), and as soon as I heard the word turtle, I was out the door! We got a ride to the river, but had to walk across, b/c the river was way too high. And then another ride to the beach (notice, not white beach, it's more black). There were hundreds and hundreds of Olive Ridley turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs. There were so many, that they were often digging up other turtles' nests to make theirs. Amazing Amazing experience!!
